- Preheat oven to 350℉.
- Using a potato masher, mash the bananas together in a medium mixing bowl until smooth. Some small lumps are ok.3 small-medium bananas
- Pour the melted butter into the banana mash and mix until fully combined.⅓ cup melted unsalted butter
- Stir in the baking soda and salt, then add granulated sugar and mix completely.1 teaspoon baking soda, 1 pinch of salt, ¾ cup granular sugar
- Add the egg, vanilla extract and pure orange oil then mix again until fully combined.1 large egg, 1 teaspoon Boyajian vanilla extract, ½ teaspoon Boyajian pure orange oil
- Slowly add the flour in three stages, mixing thoroughly after each, until the batter is smooth with small lumps1½ cups all-purpose flour
- Pour the batter into a greased bread pan and bake for 52-58 minutes. Insert a toothpick into the center of the loaf to check for doneness. Once the toothpick comes out clean, remove the loaf from the oven.
- Let the loaf cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
Tip: For a slightly sweeter loaf, try using over-ripe bananas
